Les Productions FUSION is exceptionally excited to hit the stage with the new FUSION show AKIKO, to be presented in front of more than 7,000 guests in 6 different cities. We are looking for fantastic artists to be a part of this amazing show (singers, musicians, dancers, tumblers, acrobats, etc.) This post is regarding upcoming Moncton dance auditions, but more information will be provided later for the other classifications.
Since its inception, the increasingly popular FUSION show has had 15 consecutive sold-out shows, with almost 20,000 people enjoying their creative productions in multiple cities. The concept was created by entrepreneur and visual artist Matt LeBlanc and is now one of the most popular shows in Moncton.
What: Dance audition for the FUSION Moncton show on September 23, 2023 (Casino NB)
Age: 13+ & adults.
Audition Date: Saturday, February 18th, 2023.
Time: 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
Location: 164 Albert Street (Dance Chaos Studio)
We always have dancers from various schools in our productions. Even if we have partnered with Danse Chaos Dance, we invite and encourage ALL dancers from ANY dance schools to attend the auditions and participate in the show. We've always done this and want the best available dancers in the region regardless of what dance school they attend.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Please provide a headshot, contact information, and a short bio (one-page maximum) when you come to the audition. This will validate your chances of making the team.
- Stage expression is fundamental and a must-have. Having great stage expression and/or presence is a great asset in a show.
- Dancers must commit to scheduled rehearsals in the months leading up to the show and must commit to attending all of them. The full schedule with confirmed dates will be provided and discussed at the first team meeting. We want dancers that are dedicated, ready to work, positive, professional and do not miss any rehearsals.
WHAT WE NEED
For the groups, we are looking for two main types of dancers:
- Technically trained Lyrical/Contemporary Dancers. (Flexibility and acrobatics are an advantage.)
- Hip-hop - POWERFUL dancers, preferably with SOME technical training.
AUDITIONS
- Cost: $20/person to cover choreography, studio, and teacher time.
- Choreography will be taught on the spot. There will also be a small improvisation segment.
- Arrive 15 minutes early to start warming up.
- Auditions will be recorded so that we can review them later. This footage will be kept confidential and deleted after the team is complete.
